Swaddled in Grace

A blog where Faith intervenes when Motherhood feels heavy.

About Swaddled in Grace

Welcome to Swaddled in Grace — a space for every mama who’s quietly whispered a prayer, cried in private or rejoiced in the beauty that is motherhood.

Hello my fellow Mama’s, my name is Oly and I am a mom of a toddler who has struggled greatly. Not only in my walk with God, but my journey with motherhood.

Here, I will write openly about the raw but often incredibly difficult journey of Christian motherhood. The act of comparison is REALLY REAL. I’ll dive into the less than picture perfect moments of raising our children up to be followers of Jesus while also juggling many other daily life tasks.

From the pits of postpartum depression, to the responsibility of raising children who know and love Jesus, to striving to be a biblical wife; I will touch on it all.

This blog is rooted in the belief that grace is not only sufficient, it’s swaddling. Gentle. Secure. Present, even in the unraveling.

Whether you’re braving and navigating motherhood for the first time or silently struggling, you’re not alone.

Everything is a season. The goal of this season of motherhood is not just to survive; even though it may feel like that at times. God gives us these wonderful blessings to care for and it is up to us and our Faith in Jesus Christ to carry us through and steward our children. All, while not losing who we are, and walking out our calling as Mothers at the same time.

For those struggling, please know that you are seen, loved, and cared for by a Savior who doesn’t run away from our mess.

The bottom line is that we are all “Swaddled in Grace”, with Jesus walking right beside us in our hardest moments of motherhood.
